Investing

I write about investing topics that interest me here at www.dr-eriksen.no/investing. Even though I am Professor of Mathematics at BI Norwegian Business School, I am not writing here in that capacity. If you are looking for mathematics, you should go to www.dr-eriksen.no. You will not find much about academic finance here either.

Investing strategy

I have tried different investment strategies throughout the years, and found out what works for me. I like to invest in stocks. In my Core Equity portfolio, I invest in a few companies that I know well and follow closely, and the portfolio is concentrated in the sectors I know best, such as saving banks and salmon farmers. For the moment, the core equity portfolio consists of 5 companies. This was the dominant strategy in my portfolio up until around 2018/19.
